An educational, desktop-first environment for learning quantitative finance: no brokerage keys required. Built on Safepine OS, Safepine Studio includes the full feature set of Safepine Server and ships with rich synthetic market data so you can explore strategies safely before touching live markets.
Safepine Studio is a Linux-native research environment built for learning how structure affects decisions and system design. It enables individuals to explore market behavior through back-testing within fully reproducible workflows. Users begin with curated synthetic data and may optionally load their own CSV files for deeper analysis.
Safepine Studio is strictly a software tool. It does not provide financial advice, manage funds, connect to brokers, execute trades, or automate decisions.
By default, all functionality runs locally on the user’s machine, with no cloud dependency, no account linkage, and no live execution. Safepine Studio does not require any third-party or online account.
When the application starts, users create a local workspace profile. The username and password are stored only on the user’s computer and are used solely to organize local data and projects within the application.
Safepine Studio is designed as a long-term environment rather than a fixed release. Development is ongoing, with improvements driven by real usage, feedback, and evolving research workflows. This is not a snapshot. It is a system in motion.
