Can I play this game alone?

Yes. While the game is intended as a two player game, you can control both characters at once on the same keyboard. We often do this ourselves too when we test things and it provides a bit of an extra challenge to more experienced players. 

What sets Vulcard apart from other roguelike deckbuilders?

Vulcard is to our knowledge the only roguelike deckbuilder that uses time based combat. This means that enemies don't just wait for you to end your turn and instead regularly attack you, forcing you to make quick decisions. This makes Vulcard a fast-paced and action packed card battling game.
