Sip, don't chug! The more you drain, the harder it is to stop. It's often wise to save some blood for later

Some tenants affect their neighbors, for good or bad. Take care where you place them
Every moon cycle, the thirst grows. Unless quenched in time, it will force you into hibernation. The higher your thirst, the longer your slumber, and the more tenants will move out before you wake.
As you return to your coffin each night, spend blood to unlock and upgrade your vampiric powers – from improvements to your vision, climbing, or jumping, to attracting more or better neighbors, to shifting into bat and rat forms!
Nights end in fiery, blood-draining daylight. Stick to the shade, or head for the safety of your coffin when dawn nears.
