A small first-person pet grooming game. Muddy pets line up outside your salon. Wash them, dry them, brush them, clip their nails and pick out a bow or a party hat. Hand them back and they rate your work. You can even keep the salon open in a corner of your screen while you do other things.
Tiny Pet Salon is a small pet grooming game you play in first person. Pets turn up at your window covered in mud. Carry each one to the bathtub, then to the grooming table, and do every job yourself, up close. When you're done, hand it back through the window and it rates your work out of five paws.
Rub the sponge over every patch of mud until it's gone, then rinse the soap off with the sprayer. Dry the fur with a towel or the hair dryer and watch it puff up, brush it until it shines, and clip the nails on each paw. Turn the pet around to get at its back.
Every pet comes with an order ticket that says what it wants: which jobs, which shampoo scent, which color. Finish with a bow, a bandana or a party hat, and put it wherever you click.
Ticklish pets wiggle around while you work. Pets that hate water might jump out of the tub and run. Some show up extra muddy, and the fluffy ones need twice the brushing but tip more. A dog biscuit from the treat jar calms anyone down.
Spend your tips on better gear, like a faster sprayer, a hair dryer and a rubber duck that keeps nervous pets in the bath, and on decor that turns up through the season, from a ducky parade and party bunting to twinkling fairy lights, a fish tank and a fountain for the front yard. Happy customers come back as regulars, often asking for the same look as last time, and their photos go up on your wall. And when it's quiet, give Nori, the salon's little black cat, a pet. She purrs.
Your salon sits on a sunny corner: cars pull up at the crossing to let pets cross, neighbors stroll by with their friends, chimneys puff, butterflies drift over the flower boxes, and every window looks out on gardens, shops and the park across the road.
Each day brings something to look forward to, like brushes, bows, scented shampoos, nail trims, a hat parade, dress-up days and big rushes, along with a goal that pays a bonus. Halfway through it's the Summer Pet Show, and on day twenty the Grand Pet Show, where the day's ratings win you a medal and a rosette for your wall. After that, the salon stays open as long as you like, and the Pet Show comes back every few days for another go at gold.
Relax: no timer. Pets come in one at a time and wait as long as you need.
Frenetic: a line forms outside and pets get impatient, but every groom pays 30% more.
Desktop: the salon shrinks into a small window in the corner of your screen. Every few minutes a pet rings the bell, and you click to open up.
