Gameplay

This is a full free-form text adventure — not a multiple choice game. You are in control. Commands follow the classic verb/noun structure of the genre: take key, open door, use hammer on loose board. My first experience with text adventure games was on the Commodore VIC-20. I fell in love with the genre immediately. After becoming a Christian in 1994, I wanted to do two things: revive a lost genre of gaming, and share the hope that faith gave me. The Forgotten Nightmare Series is the result of that vision — a game built with heart, humor, and a genuine respect for the classics.
