MuteX+ is a challenging hack-and-slash that focuses on dynamic and varied enemies. Make the most out of a moveset built around a slash, punch, and dash to cleave through the six Anobrite nests -- each ending with their own boss -- while mastering the game's unconventional but precise movement.
Heavily inspired by the flash game Amorphous+.

You play as Brigand, a researcher given an experimental weapon by her company's military division. She must cut through and search the nearby nests by force in hopes of finding something that will end her company's stagnating war, whether it be a simple resource or the secret workings of a completely different organization.
Within these nests are many different Anobrites, which are slimes with chitin parts. Each species has its own behavior and abilities, and they can mutate into completely different species by combining with others.
Brigand's moveset consists of a simple slash, punch, and dash. Each ability has its own properties and variants depending on when it is used, giving the tools needed to take on any situation. Additionally, specific tricks and combos (such as killing multiple Anobrites with one swing) reward the player with extra dash meter.

Brigand automatically moves and aims towards the player's cursor, rewarding mastery with smooth and precise gameplay (though there is controller support for a conventional 1-stick experience). There are also very few ways to get i-frames; movement and positioning is key to avoid getting hit, and your dash is not a dodge roll.
To beat a nest, the player simply kills enemies until the enemy count reaches 0. After defeating the boss that spawns at that point, the player beats the nest and can move on to the next one.
Bonus modes include an endless mode for each nest after clearing their normal mode and a boss rush after the last nest is completed.
