The marvellous Mireo comes to Train Simulator Classic!
The BR463 is Deutsche Bahn’s classification of the super-modern Mireo EMU, which has been introduced very recently as a successor to the earlier Desiro units which have been operating for more than 20 years. Use of modern materials and construction have resulted in reduced weight, which results in less energy being used to power the train.
The BR463 for Train Simulator Classic has been recreated in DB Regio livery by developers RSSLO, and includes scenarios for the Nürnberg - Donauwörth Route, available separately on Steam. It also has customisable programmable destination displays and is compatible with station audio announcements. Details on all these functions are included in the user manual, which you can download right now from the link on the page.
Regional trains don’t get much more up-to-date than the Mireo, so if modern era is your favourite, look no further.
