Explore an abandoned research facility in this turn-based roguelike. Find your way with limited visibility, dodge attacks and recover records left behind. Gather food and equipment as you descend, then venture into the unknown depths after completing your investigation.

NADIR TRACE is a turn-based roguelike set in the abandoned research facility SITE NT-14. Recover the research records left behind, stabilize each floor's anchor and open the gate to the next area.

Explore laboratories, ruins and the open ground between them with limited visibility. Restart dormant machinery to light up your surroundings, and search for scattered supplies to keep yourself fed and healthy.
The terrain and facility layout change with each expedition. Places you've explored remain on your map to help you find your way.

Watch for attack warnings on the ground and waves sweeping across multiple tiles as you fight. Moving, attacking, waiting and using items advance the turn, so you can stop to think about your next action.
Use shields to withstand attacks and phase jumps to escape encirclement. Other equipment lets you swap places with enemies or reflect incoming waves. You can also lure enemies with holograms or maneuver so their attacks hit one another.

Activate the facility's lasers to take on large bosses, and operate stabilizers in areas under bombardment. Each boss has its own attack patterns, so how you use the machinery around you and your equipment will change from one fight to the next.
Once you've completed your investigation, you can return or venture into the unknown depths of BEYOND. Stronger enemies and bosses await in depths that extend past floor 100. Face moving bosses and find openings to strike back between spiraling attacks and staggered explosions.

Read the research records and notes you recover to learn what happened at the facility. You can revisit collected documents in the archive. Across multiple expeditions, fill in the item and enemy codex and work toward collection goals and achievements.
A single-player game with terminal-style pixel graphics and synthesized music. Save an unfinished expedition and resume it later.
