Explore the story of Facettes as you play as a woman discovering her homosexuality and overcoming her identity crisis. This self-questioning protagonist channels her introspection in her RPG inspired fantasy world: Facettes.
Blending role-playing character creation with visual novel elements, Facettes lets you step into the shoes of Anna, a young writer embarking on the journey of creating her very first novel.
Throughout the writing process, you decide whether the characters will help one another, fight each other, or only think for themselves. While Anna shapes the story’s foundation through her memories, she will regularly rely on you to define her characters’ behavior during visual novel sequences.

Roll the dice, assign their values to traits such as spirituality, charisma, or combativeness, and discover a character archetype: a Potential. Whether it’s a fallen prince or a mischievous child, they will become the hero or heroine of their own chapter in Anna’s book.
With each new dice roll comes a new Potential, sending the young author into fresh memories that will spark new inspiration.
In a heteronormative and patriarchal world, Anna begins to realize that she is ultimately attracted to women after years of heterosexual relationships. As the starting point of a reflection on gender and sexuality, Facettes explores many queer themes as an invitation to better understand and accept others, as well as oneself.

Facettes is the third game from the Nuances series which holds a strong message about feminism, LGBT+ themes or inclusiveness.
It follows Sweet Love, a game about moral harassment within a couple, marital rape and femicides and A Comfortable Burden, a game tackling mental load with an otter couple.
